Another day, another dawn...

A new beginning comes at
the end of a old saga,

A new hope comes at
the end of pessimism,

A new trust builds at
the end of doubt,

A new life begins at
the end of dormancy,

A new dawn begins at
the end of a dusk,

So there is always something new
awaiting at the end of all!

Ode to mom dearest...

You gave life to me, a part of you…
You gave light to it, and brought me out…
You nurtured with care, lots of time to spare…

As I grew up, you grew with me…
As I learned, you learned with me…
As I failed, you stood by me…

When I enjoyed, you stayed with me…
When I won, you applauded for me…
When I lost, you encouraged me…

As a kid, never did I realize that my life is nothing without you,
You created, molded and shaped it…

When I had troubles as a grown-up I searched for someone
Out in the crowd to help me, to soothe me, to hold and care for me!!!
My search just went on and on…
I found no one, I was all alone!!!

Never did I realize that none can understand and help
Me better than you!!!!

I have always wanted you to be proud of me; this was the reason why I was scared of letting you down with my failures, troubles and sorrows!!!
You are one person, whom I look up to at difficult times now…

I might not have expressed my love with hugs, kisses or kind words,
But in my heart you are a stalwart, the pillar of my strength,
The source of my hope, determination and confidence…

Ma all I wish to say now is

Emotions...

People laugh when they are happy,
people cry when they are sad,
people are angry when they are disappointed,
people are devastated when they are deceived!

Expectation leads to disappointments,
disappointment leads to anger,
anger leads to wrath,
wrath leads to hatred.!!

It is human to feel all these emotions;
If you don't feel anything at all,
you are not human or have you crossed all these emotional displays already???

Brother...

We did not come from the same place,
We don't know where we will go,
But fate brought us together.

The times we spent together is unforgettable.
Days may not be the same again,
But the memories ll stay still.

Nothing can be sweeter than true LOVE and AFFECTION!

"fair"ness

Color, color what color do you choose?
Do you get an opportunity to choose?!
Even if it so, will you say black?

When colors drain into white it becomes colored,
Does it happen to black? Alas no,
It remains unique and special in its own way.

As the sun goes down the horizon,
Darkness sweeps around us,
Life quietens, peace settles in,
Giving us many blissful moments together.

If not for darkness we would not be united in our virtues,
Dark nights brings families closer over the table,
Dark times unites the people of a nation,
It makes us stand up to the occasion.

No Big or small Brother can change it in a day,
erase the difference among us; we see no colors in darkness,
Then why worship all this ‘fair’ness?!?


If you could not understand, step into their shoes,
Now you may see how it feels to be ostracized!
If you want things to change then
be the change that you want others to change!

What makes them even more special now
is, they have achieved even after so much
suppression and indeed they have treaded a long way.

Just think how we will feel, if we are
debased like them! Now you will come to realize…
Respect them for theirs roots, which is
deeply imbibed in this very soil we live!
