"fair"ness

Color, color what color do you choose?
Do you get an opportunity to choose?!
Even if it so, will you say black?

When colors drain into white it becomes colored,
Does it happen to black? Alas no,
It remains unique and special in its own way.

As the sun goes down the horizon,
Darkness sweeps around us,
Life quietens, peace settles in,
Giving us many blissful moments together.

If not for darkness we would not be united in our virtues,
Dark nights brings families closer over the table,
Dark times unites the people of a nation,
It makes us stand up to the occasion.

No Big or small Brother can change it in a day,
erase the difference among us; we see no colors in darkness,
Then why worship all this ‘fair’ness?!?


If you could not understand, step into their shoes,
Now you may see how it feels to be ostracized!
If you want things to change then
be the change that you want others to change!

What makes them even more special now
is, they have achieved even after so much
suppression and indeed they have treaded a long way.

Just think how we will feel, if we are
debased like them! Now you will come to realize…
Respect them for theirs roots, which is
deeply imbibed in this very soil we live!
